As described previously, I've started my adventure with the HDR photography.

Picture was taken few weeks ago at Alki Beach in Seattle, WA almost at sunset, but I haven't had time to work on it until today.

This picture itself was created by combining 6 different photos and playing with the result.

I could probably make it look better, but the beginnings are always hard (eg. look at my old IR photos :)

Update: Didn't like the red and magenta bleeding on edges, so I've fixed them and updated the picture.

Again, brilliant work on the clouds. It's been a while since I've been out to Alki Point. :aww:

Thank you so much .. I only wish I could have walked inside the fenced area and take few more shots at a different angle. Unfortunately the place was already closed.

But as they say - better luck next time :-) Or should I have said: Better shot next time :-D

These HDR effects still are quite stunning maybe I'll find the time to experiment on those too sooner or later. In the meantime I enjoy looking at wonderful shots like this as an inspiration, really nice : D!

:-)

Glad you like it :-)

I should hopefully get better with the HDR after reading the "The HDRI Handbook" by Christian Bloch which seems like an excellent source of information (though it's pretty thick and I don't have much time to read it).
